RSL RESONSE TO US PRESIDENT’S CLAIMS
The RSL categorically rejects the assertion by United States’ President Donald Trump that allied forces "stayed a little back, a little off the front lines" in Afghanistan.
This claim is factually wrong, historically ignorant, and deeply offensive to the 47 Australian service personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice, the 261 wounded, and the nearly 40,000 Australians who served in our nation's longest war.
Lest we forget.

STATE PRESIDENT’S UPDATE
It has been a busy, yet highly productive six months at the State Branch level. Our State Board has taken a strategic, business-focused approach to ensuring the continuity and objectives of the RSL. A central priority for us as an organisation is to safeguard the ongoing operations of the RSL so that we can continue delivering the vital support our veterans need—both now and into the future.
RSL SYMBOL CHANGE
The Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL) approved an update to the RSL Badge on 16th October.
The updated badge features the Tudor Crown, adopted by RSL Australia’s Patron, King Charles III. In keeping with the connection to remembrance and service, the new badge also introduces rosemary and a poppy, two enduring Australian symbols of remembrance, alongside the golden wattle, our national floral emblem.
