KOREAN WAR COMMEMORATION 27/7/26
This morning RSL South Australia hosted a service in the Torrens Drill Hall to commemorate the end of Korean War hostilities in 1953.
Several dozen people representing the Korean community, state government, Defence, veterans, families and the public paid their respects.
The recent passing of three Korean War veterans was acknowledged - Patrick Forbes MC ED, John Jarrett AM and Peter Clarke.
A generous morning tea was enjoyed afterwards. We thank all who participated in the commemoration.
Wreaths were relocated to the Post-WW2 memorial adjacent to the SA National War Memorial.
