COWELL REMEMBRANCE PARK

Cowell Remembrance Park opening 11th November. Over several years the Cowell RSL, the District Council of Franklin Harbour and Virtual War Memorial Australia have researched and developed the concept of a memorial park dedicated to the 38 WW1 and WW2 veterans named on the Cowell Cenotaph.

With grants from the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs and Veterans SA and support of local businesses and organisations steel cut-outs, posts and plaques pay tribute and a means to remember those lives sacrificed.

The park will be dedicated on Remembrance Day 2025. Veterans, families and visitors are welcome to attend.

The area will eventually include recognition of other service including more recent conflicts. More information: Cowell@rslsa.org.au
