ANNUAL CONFERENCE 29/6/25

The 107th Annual RSL SA/NT/Broken Hill Sub-Branch Conference was held today at the Torrens Training Depot, with Sub-Branch representatives from regional and metropolitan areas, and interstate. Proceedings began with the conference opened by Her Excellency the Governor.

RSL Australia CEO Phil Winter presented the ANZAC of the Year award to Dennis Oldenhove, Macclesfield RSL President, then gave an update on RSL Australia.

The Hon Joe Szakacs MP, State Minister for Veterans Affairs, addressed the delegates.

Ms Janice Silby, Deputy Commissioner DVA SA, reported on DVA and advised of her pending retirement. Janice was presented with flowers as a thank you for her great work and cooperation with RSL State Branch and Sub-Branches.

Acting State President Meredith Burgess and CEO Tara Belton delivered their reports. All presented motions were voted on and carried.

The 2025 State President Brad Flaherty addressed the audience and the new board members were introduced.
