The Australian Government has announced plans to divest 67 Defence estate sites - the largest reform to the Defence estate in our nation’s history.
This decision was made without public consultation or stakeholder input.
The RSL is calling for a Senate inquiry so Australians can understand:
• Why these decisions are being made
• How they align with Australia's defence needs
• What transition plans exist for affected communities
